Forever explores the past life regression which is a form of alternative therapy that aims to explore and potentially heal unresolved issues or traumas believed to stem from past lives. It is based on the concept of reincarnation, which posits that the soul undergoes multiple lifetimes, each with its own experiences and lessons.

In Forever, psychotherapist ELIZABETH CARSON leads a weekend group therapy retreat in Joshua Tree, aiming to heal four participants from shared past traumas through regression therapy. As the retreat progresses, Elizabeth’s concerns grow, exacerbated by eerie occurrences and unsettling revelations during these regression sessions.
The group’s exploration of their interconnected past leads to a chilling realization: they are trapped in a cycle of murderous tragedy spanning centuries. Confronted with the relentless grip of fate, Elizabeth must fight against her own insecurities and the looming threat of - the sinister VIRGIL CARRION.
