Kevin Shuster is an award-winning, seasoned freelance Executive Producer, renowned for his expertise in strategizing, conceptualizing, and overseeing a diverse array of projects from pre-production to post-production. His portfolio encompasses websites, mobile applications, social and digital campaigns, videos, animations, virtual reality and augmented reality experiences, virtual events, and immersive environments.
 

Professional Journey

As the former Head of Creative Production at MC2 Experiential Studio, Kevin was at the helm of digital and physical production for immersive environments, events, and activations across entertainment and various brands. His leadership ensured the successful execution of high-impact experiences.
 

Before his tenure at MC2, Kevin served as the Executive Producer of Emerging Tech at Team One (Saatchi & Saatchi), where he supervised interactive production for entertainment and lifestyle accounts. He was instrumental in co-founding TiltShift, an animation, VFX, and virtual reality studio under the Publicis Groupe umbrella.
 

Kevin's prior roles include being a Senior Interactive Producer at Phelps Agency, where he worked on major accounts such as Panasonic Solutions Company and Travel Corp, and a Technical Supervising Producer at Warner Bros. He also established and managed one of the first in-house multimedia divisions at a traditional full-service agency in Chicago.

Notable Projects

Kevin has creatively directed and produced interactive experiences for esteemed national and global brands including Lexus, Samsung, The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, Panasonic, EA (Electronic Arts), TikTok, 2K Games, Warner Bros., and many others. His recent assignments feature a multi-screen experience for McDonald’s at their annual owners and operators conference, as well as pitches for Facebook, Amazon, and the OWN network through Jack Morton Worldwide.

Creative Pursuits

Kevin is also a screenwriter, director, and producer of film and live theater. He has written over 20 screenplays and teleplays and is a graduate of the writing and improv programs at The Second City Training Center in Chicago. He was a founding member of the comedy sketch group, The Mantasticks. In addition, Kevin has experience in TV and feature film development having worked with Cindy Cowan Entertainment, known for "Syriana" and "Very Bad Things," and Valhalla Motion Pictures, recognized for "The Walking Dead," "Aliens," and "The Terminator." Kevin has been applying is knowledge of storytelling and film by diving deep into the creative world of generative A.I. using software like Midjourney, Runway, Luma, Eleven Labs and other tools to create A.I short films.

 

Academic Background

Kevin holds a BFA in Scientific Illustration from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Medical Science in Biomedical Visualization (Medical Illustration) from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he completed his thesis on Virtual Reality (VR) for Medicine. His medical and scientific illustrations have been published in journals, textbooks, and museums. He served briefly as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago Biomedical Visualization program creating and teaching their first online e-learning for then program's graduate students.
